Angela Hurst-MacMillan

Guardian & Operations Advisor

Angela is the backbone of Second Chance Sanctuary’s operations and Isla’s mom. While she balances two other jobs, she plays a crucial role at the sanctuary by providing guidance and support behind the scenes. Angela ensures that everything runs smoothly by double-checking plans, schedules, volunteer and job applications, and contracts. She signs consent forms, oversees important agreements, and sometimes answers phones when Isla is out of office. Angela also manages payroll, helping make sure staff and volunteers are properly supported. With her careful attention to detail, organizational skills, and steady guidance, Angela keeps the sanctuary running safely and efficiently, making her an essential part of the team
