Hello! I’m Isla MacMillan, the 13-year-old founder of Second Chance Sanctuary. Based in Ontario, Canada, this is a non-registered, not-for-profit initiative built on a simple, powerful promise: We rescue, protect, and rehabilitate all animals.
Whether they have scales, feathers, fur, or wool, we believe every life deserves a second chance. We are dedicated to providing a safe, loving space for any animal in need—from domestic pets to exotics and beyond.
Where We Are Today
We are currently in our Foundational Phase. Right now, my work is focused on:
Expert Research: Utilizing years of species-specific study to ensure that every rescue receives medical-grade care and proper enrichment.
Strategic Growth: Building the network and support systems needed to handle a wide variety of species safely and professionally.
Fiscal Partnership: We are actively seeking sponsorship and mentorship from established organizations to help us expand our reach and impact.
